1) Bakerzin
Nothing to rave about food at extraordinarily expensive prices. What's up with all the hype?
2) Ajisen
Nothing nice.
3) Swensens @ Crown Prince Hotel
Long queue and horrible service rendered to us. Was there to celebrate my friend's b.day. We bought two slices of small cakes for her. We were told that we couldn't eat the cakes there.
4) Ding Tai Fong
Long queue and supposed to be famous for their xiao long bao or most of their bao. But nothing taste really nice to me, except for their yam bao. But heard their original Din Tai Feng in Taiwan is really good.
5) Club Chinois at Orchard Parade Hotel
Supposedly grand place, pretended fine dining with
EXTREMELY TERRIBLE service. Nothing to really rave about signature wasabi mayonnaise prawns does nothing to help. I won't go back ever again for the
EXTREMELY BAD LOUSY service rendered to us. We went there for my grandfather's b.day lunch, about 13 of us. They kept forgetting our orders or mixed up our orders. Decided to be nice to eat them even when they screwed up our orders. Then we couldn't finish a small portion of food (
CONSIDERING the fact that there are 13 of us), they told us harshly that it was food wastage and did not bother to clear up our table before they served us desserts.
TOTALLY spoilt our moods!!!
BAD BAD BAD LOUSY service!!! Even if you bother to treat me, I won't even want to go back. This happened recently.

Till now, the
most overrated food outlet goes to Club Chinois at Orchard Parade Hotel. Let's give them a big clap.
I wonder which other food outlets will make it to my list...
(Maybe there are other food outlets that serve mediocre food but they've good service, thus didn't make it here. Or I happened to like one or two items out of their whole menu.)
